TikTok x Museumnacht
The brief
Create a high-impact opening for Museumnacht 2021 that positions TikTok as a connector between classical art, digital creativity and a new generation of cultural talent.
Our approach
We transformed the historic church “De Duif” into a sensory stage for performance, dialogue and connection. TikTok invited 150 leading voices from the cultural scene — from museum directors to rising artists — for an immersive dinner programme that merged digital culture with fine art.
The night unfolded through three live acts: Diamanda Dramm opened with a haunting reinterpretation of Bach; Cherella Gessel delivered a bold and healing Black Queer HipHop performance; and S10, one of the top three most promising Dutch artists of the moment and winner of the Edison Award for Best Alternative Album, closed the night with a raw, intimate set on a mirrored altar stage. Host Shamiro van der Geld guided the evening with spoken word and reflection.
The result
An unforgettable cultural kick-off that reframed what a brand activation can be — intimate, artistic and socially in tune. TikTok took its place at the table as a platform that listens, celebrates and supports the creative voices shaping today’s culture.
